Key Features & Benefits:
- Mildew, Mold, and Moisture Resistant - Hydrophobic fibres resist Mother Nature’s outside influences so your interior stays dry whether you're on the road traveling or when your campervan is in storage.
- Cozy and Warm - with an R-Value of 5.2.
- More Acoustic Absorption Than Competitive Products - Non-woven sound-absorbing material keeps your home on wheels quiet, ..or loud, without disturbing your campground neighbours.
- Lightweight - A number one issue when traveling, and building, is weight. Keep it low-key and meet your total load goals with 3M Thinsulate SM600L.
- Fire Resistant - FMVSS 302 certified (federal motor vehicle safety standard), so you can feel safe and protected in your van at all times.
3M™ recommends using 3M™ 90 Hi-Strength Contact Adhesive Spray to apply the white, fibre side, to the van.
The insulation is 60" (5 feet) wide, with black scrim on one side.
1 linear foot of Thinsulate = 5 square feet.
Material comes compressed from 3M™, but will expand to 1 3/4" (44mm).
