Reasonable quality but poor installation method and instructions
The item works as advertised and the materials are high quality. The installation video and alignment marks are so poor that I would hesitate to buy again.
The price is a bit high, but the more affordable options are low quality (previously returned an Amazon brand one).
The installation is a painful process, and this is coming from a handy individual can build a garage or replace a short block engine in a Jeep. The problems:
1) No instructions, that's fine, go to YouTube. The Wanderful video shows the back of the installers head 3/4 of the time with no close ups, that sucks. Ok, what else?
2) The "red alignment marks" are a best guess. Start there and you'll still have to re-install / adjust 2 to 4 more times.
3) There are 2 sizes of clips and no guidance which ones to use or where to put them. I started at about 20cm spacing and had many left over so I went back and added more. Some guidance here would be appreciated.
4) The weatherstripping on the transit is held on with a black gooey adhesive. Very difficult to remove and gets on everything, but that's not Wanderful's fault. The problem is the alignment cannot be done correctly on the first time. So the problem is even after you clean off the black gooey adhesive, it is also inside the strip and gets everywhere when readjusting the door.
Bottom line, this could be 4/5 if the instructions or video were more clear and they included more alignment marks so this could be installed correctly the first time. Took almost 3…
