How much height does the swivel add to the seat base?
The Scopema swivel only adds 7/8" to your seat base. All other swivel models add over 1-1/4" to the seat base. This may not seem like much but it is noticeable when sitting in the seat.
How much does the swivel weigh?
The Scopema swivel is 30lbs.
Do I need to the handbrake lowering kit for the drivers side swivel?
Yes on the Sprinter and Transit we recommend the lowering kit.

Bolting holes had to be adjusted to fit. But easy install on passenger side overall.
Have installed a few Scopema's in other vans but the Fords is the only one that took longer than most due to the seat rails hitting door panels when swiveling. Just an FYI for those interested in Install Instructions as it doesn't come with any - Found a great install tutorial that covers it all on Far Out Rides website. Otherwise straightforward to install, but adding the extra step of slicing the brackets down that small amount was a big sigh that Scopema could have remedied with alternative alignment. Not sure if this is only certain models or just luck of the draw but worth checking before completing your install!
Overall The swivels provide so much versatility in the long run so it's hard to complain too much.
