Upholstery Kit (Brackets, Birch Plywood and Upholstery supplies)

DIY Kit: Includes a paper template that you can use to measure and cut your shelf to the exact fit of your headliner. Simply tape the template over your desired material and cut it out.

Birch Plywood Shelf: Includes a 5/8" thick, birch plywood, shelf and lip. The shelf has been cut with a CNC for a precision fit in the headliner.

Upholstery Kit: Includes the brackets, plywood shelf and all the goods to upholster the shelf on your own. 2 yards of landau foam, 2 yards of duramax fabric and 1 can of 3M90. We chose this fabric because its easy to clean, abrasion-resistant and will not absorb liquid.

All three headliner shelf kit options come with a set of 1/8" thick, water-jet cut, aluminum brackets that have been finished with black powder-coating.

How much foam and fabric is needed if I'd like to upholster the shelf?
We recommend 2 yards of both landau foam and fabric and one can of 3M90 to upholster the shelf.

Will the shelf interfere with the factory airbags?
No, the shelf is installed above the factory airbags.

Is the shelf compatible with the Transit Mid-Roof?
No, the shelf is not compatible with the Transit Low-Roof or Mid-Roof; the shelf is only compatible with the Transit High-Roof.
