144" Sprinter Conversion
This van already had the basics when it came to our lot: the sliding door window, Maxxair fan, wall and ceiling panelling, and bed platform were already in place, along with a basic AGM battery setup.
We added 200W of solar on the roof to recharge their batteries (previously only charging via the alternator). We also hinged the end of the bed to make the living area more spacious and functional, while adding a full width bench seat with Lagun table, and kitchen galley. We installed a NovaKool front-loading fridge and small sink with 12V Flojet water pump, and used marine slam latches for all the cabinets.
The water pump also powers a quick-connect shower in the garage. We utilized one of our 22 gallon wheel well water tanks (these "Promaster" tanks also fit on Sprinter and Transit wheel wells!) to make sure Penelope would have plenty of water supply. The rest of the garage was constructed simple and practical - two large rollout storage units make for easy storage for a variety of gear.
